The Gestapo to run the 2006 World Cup!
Should Germany be stripped of the right to hold the 2006 World cup? In short yes, even if this means that the tournament is to be vacated.
On the one hand there is evidence that the German regime will politicise the tournament. The German government is staunchly Zionist. Members of the German parliament have already called for Iran to banned from the tournament after the Iranian president Ahmadinejad criticised Germany, et al, for their deplorable human rights record, particularly against historians who criticise the official state history in respect of the Second World War.
President Ahmadinejad pointed out that it is not reasonable to imprison historians for debating the extent of the Nazi genocide of Jews during the Second World War; and for further pointing out that were the claims of six million are as irrefutable as Zionist governments claim, then they would have nothing to fear from allowing freedom of debate.
Furthermore, Ahmadinejad has pointed out that whatever the scope of Nazi crimes towards the European Jewish population it does not justify a Nazi style European Jewish occupation, colonisation, ethnic-cleansing and genocide in the Middle East. A point supported by international law.
Even though the German chancellor has since declared that Germany will not prevent Iran from taking part, members of her government requested FIFA did so. Now we learn that under the guise of security that German secret police will be will conduct large-scale anti-terror investigations on footballers, journalists, groundskeepers, private security personnel, sanitation crews and food catering employees.
They have been given the authority to deny World Cup accreditation if they deem anyone a security risk. They are not required to give any reason for the decision nor can the decisions be appealed. This would be the first time in the tournament history that players or coaches have been denied accreditation by the host country.
It would be a terrible shame if the 2006 World Cup was aborted but a far greater shame if it was to be politicised in this way by the host nation. This sets a precedent were the host nation can choose which players the visiting nations are allowed to play.
